Windows 10 CVE-2020-0601 Vulnerability
The National Security Agency had found a vulnerability in Microsoft Windows 10 Operating System. They warned Microsoft that this vulnerability can be used to make malware look like legitimate programs.
This vulnerability places Windows users at risk of exploitation. The NSA assesses the vulnerability to be severe. Remote exploitation tools will most likely be made quickly so installing the latest patch from Microsoft is very important.
The same vulnerability can also spoof encrypted HTTPS connections. Signed files and emails are also at risk.
On January 14th, Microsoft release a patch to fix the issue which also affects Windows Server 2016 and 2019.
